H. E. Shri Jeeva Sagar - The Ambassador of India to Kuwait
His Excellencey Shri Jeeva Sagar, originally hails from Machilipatnam in Andhra Pradesh, is a 1991 batch Indian Foreign Service officer. He had begun his diplomatic career in Iran and went on to serve in various continents. He served in the Indian Missions in different parts of the world including Iran, Ireland, Zimbabwe, Mexico and South Korea.
Shri Sagar assumed charge as the High Commissioner of India to the Republic of Ghana on 2013. He is also concurrently accredited to Togo, Burkina Faso and Sierra Leone.
He held key position in Pakistan Affairs which is considered as challenging among diplomatic crops.
He had played a key role in Indian President’s first ever visit to Ghana when he was the Indian High Commissioner. Earlier he served as Ambassador of India to the Republic of Burkina Faso and Republic of Togo.
He is an alumnus of University of Hyderabad (UoH) and graduated from Noble College of Machilipatnam. Before taking up his career as a diplomat, he had worked in Canara Bank.
